Aloo Posto

Ingredients (3-4 servings)

10-12 baby potato (Boiled and peeled)

4 tbls Poppy seeds (khaskhas)

1largeonions (finely chopped)

3 tbls oil or ghee

3-4 green chilies

Salt to taste

1/2 tsp sugar

1/4 tsp kalongi (onion seeds)

1/2 tsp jeera

Method(how to make aloo posto)

Soak poppy seed in warm water for half hour.

Remove the excess water and make fine paste of poppy seeds and green chillies together.

Now heat oil in wok add jeera, kalongi and fry few seconds and add chopped onion. fry onion till it turn golden.

Now add poppy paste and fry few minuts.

Add boiled potato and sugar and salt and mix well

Now add 1/2 cup of water and cook on low flame till it get dry.

Now aloo posto is ready to serve.

Serve hot with rice and chapati.
