Hakka Noodles

 

Ingredients (for 3-4 servings)

 

  • 1 packet Hakka Noodles
  • 4-5 spring onions, chopped
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1/4 cup beans chopped
  • 1 cup thinly sliced multi colored capsicum (red, green, yellow)
  • 1 medium carrot, chopped
  • 2-3 garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp chilli sauce, as per taste (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • salt to taste

 

Method

 

  • Boil (1 1/2 litre) water in a big pan, when water start boiling add, 2 spoon oil, salt and hakka noodles.
  • When noodles cooked around 85-90%, remove from the heat and drain the water and wash with cold water.
  • Drain it completely and keep aside.
  • Now heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok until it smokes.
  • Add the garlic, onion and saute few sec. now add capsicum, cabbage, carrots and beans.
  • Stir continusely on high flame for 2 minutes.
  • When vegetables start softening slightly, add the noodles, soya sauce, vinegar, salt, pepper, chilli sauce and mix well.
  • Saute for another 2 mints and remove from the heat.
  • Serve hot immediately with tomato ketcup.
