Kadai Mushroom

Ingredients (for 3-4 servings)

200 grams Fresh white button mushrooms

1/2 Green Capsicum

1/2 Red Capsicum

2 Onion (chopped)

4 Tomato

2 tbls Fresh Ginger Garlic paste

1 tsp Chopped Green Chilies

1 tsp Jeera powder

1/2 tsp Turmeric powder

1/2 tsp Red chili powder

1 tsp Coriander powder

1 tsp Garam masala powder

1 tsp Kasuri methi

2 tbls Oil

1 tbls fresh cream

Salt as per taste

2 tbls Coriander leaves for garnishing

Method (How to make Kadai Mushroom)

To make Kadai Mushroom first clean the mushroom and slice them. Chop the green and red capsicum in cubes.Chop the onions finely, make tomato puree with tomatos.

Heat oil in the pan and add fresh ginger garlic paste and chopped onions and saute till onions turn slightly browned.

When onion turn brown add roasted jeera powder, Red chili powder, Turmeric powder and Coriander powder and saute few seconds. Add capsicum and saute well for few minuts. Add Tomato puree and fry until oil separates.

Add mushrooms mix well and cover the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on medium flame. Remove the cover and add cream and Kasuri methi mix well, cook for more two minutes on medium flame.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with Roti, Paratha or rice
