Lemon Rice

Ingredients (for 2 servings)

  • Cooked Rice 2 cup
  • Lime juice 3-4 tsp  
  • Turmeric powder 1/4tsp  
  • Mustered seed 1/4 tsp
  • Urad dal 1/4tsp  
  • Channa dal 1/4tsp  
  • Curry leaves 8-10
  • Red chillies 2 (Broken)  
  • Asafoetida a pinch
  • Fenugreek powder 1/4tsp
  • Oil 2 tsp
  • Salt as per taste

Method

  • Heat oil in a deep pan (kadhai), add mustard seeds.
  • When mustard seeds pops, add urad and channa , broken red chillies, asafoetida, turmeric and curry leaves stir for 1min.
  • Add cooked rice and mix properly and cook 1-2 minuts.
  • Turn off the gas and add lemon juice and fenugreek powder mix thoroughly.
  • Lemon rice is ready.
