Apple Muffins with streusel topping
Ingredients

1 cup maida

½ tsp baking powder

¼ tsp baking soda

¼ tsp salt

¼ cup butter
-
¼ cup white sugar

¼ cup brown sugar

1 egg
-
½ tsp vanilla essence
-
¾ cup chopped apple
-
½ cup grated apple
For topping
-
25gram butter
-
20 gms maida
-
2 tbsp oats
-
20 gms white sugar
-
55 gram brown sugar
-
½ tsp cinnamon
-
A pinch of salt
Method (How to make apple muffins)

Preheat the oven to 180 degree C.

Sift the flour with baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl beat together butter, sugar, vanilla essence and egg till smooth.

Add the chopped and grated apples.

Add the flour slowly and mix.

Mix all topping ingredients together.

Spoon the cake batter to the cupcake liner, sprinkle topping over the top of the muffins.

Bake for 18-20 minutes or until done.

Allow to cool for 10 minutes and transfer to wire rack for cool down completely.
