Gobhi 65
Ingredients (for 2-3 servings)
- 1 medium sized cauliflower (gobhi)
- 1/2 cup cornflour
- 2 tbsp maida
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chilly powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- oil for frying
Method
- Clean and seperate florets of cauliflower.
- Half boil cauliflower in water with turmeric powder, drain water and keep aside.
- Then mix corn flour, maida, ginger garlic paste, , chilly powder, salt add little water and make thick batter.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
- Now dip cauliflower florets in the batter and deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.
- Serve hot with green chatney or tomato sauce.
For grilled Gobhi 65
- Mix cornflour batter and boil gobhi florets and keep it for marinate atleast 15-30mins.
- Now Spread 1 tsp of oil on the baking plate.
- Place the marinated gobhi pieces on the prepared baking plate
- Now Preheat the oven at 200 C and Grill it for 15-20 mins in grill mode.
- Just after 10 mins turn over the gobhi peices to the other side to cook evenly from both sides.
- Serve hot.
