Gobhi 65

Ingredients (for 2-3 servings)

  • 1 medium sized cauliflower (gobhi)
  • 1/2 cup cornflour
  • 2 tbsp maida
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • oil for frying

Method

  • Clean and seperate florets of cauliflower.
  • Half boil cauliflower in water with turmeric powder, drain water and keep aside.
  • Then mix corn flour, maida, ginger garlic paste, , chilly powder, salt add little water and make thick batter.
  • Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
  • Now dip cauliflower florets in the batter and deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.
  • Serve hot with green chatney or tomato sauce.

For grilled Gobhi 65

  • Mix cornflour batter and boil gobhi florets and keep it for marinate atleast 15-30mins.
  • Now Spread 1 tsp of oil on the baking plate.
  • Place the marinated gobhi pieces on the prepared baking plate
  • Now Preheat the oven at 200 C and Grill it for 15-20 mins in grill mode.
  • Just after 10 mins turn over the gobhi peices to the other side to cook evenly from both sides.
  • Serve hot.
